Welcome back to day two of our Absolute Best New Year Challenge. We hope you had a great day yesterday leaning into day one. Today's challenge is all about setting you up for success every day with an awesome morning routine.
Day 2 - Create an Absolute Best morning routine
Here are five proven strategies for a morning routine to help you get off on the right foot each and every day. So let's get started!
1. Wake up early
One of the best ways to start your day is to wake up early. Getting out of bed early gives you more time to get things done and helps you to avoid feeling rushed. Additionally, waking up early allows you to enjoy a peaceful start to your day without the hustle and bustle of the morning rush hour. Try setting your alarm for just 30 minutes earlier for an immediate impact.
2. Get some exercise
Another great way to start your day is by getting some exercise. Exercise helps to wake up your body and mind, and it also provides a host of other health benefits. Exercise can help to improve your mood, increase your energy levels, and even help you to sleep better at night. Try using that extra 30 minutes for a walk or run.
3. Eat a healthy breakfast
Another important part of having a successful morning routine is eating a healthy breakfast.Breakfast gives your body the fuel it needs to get through the day. It also helps you to avoid overeating later in the day. Make sure to include some protein and fibre in your breakfast to keep you feeling full and satisfied until lunchtime.
4. Take some time for yourself
It’s also important to make sure that you take some time for yourself each morning. This can be anything from reading a book, having a cup of tea in the sunshine, or simply taking a few minutes to meditate. We suggest trying a few different things until you find something that works for you. Just remember taking some time for yourself each morning helps you to centre yourself and start your day off with a positive attitude.
5. Get organised
Finally, one of the most important parts of having a successful morning routine is getting organised. This means taking some time each night before bed to plan out your next day. Planning ahead helps you to avoid feeling overwhelmed or stressed in the morning. It can help you make better use of your time throughout the day.
